Welcome Furr Friend!

Me! The narrator of this blog :)

A lot of people never foresee where they will end up in life, and neither did I. I ended up exclusively working with cats for the last couple of years after working in research and learning that a lab setting is not for me.

I went to university for engineering, yet somehow life brought me to cats. Through allergies, bouts of being torn up, and all of the personal growth in between, I have grown to love cats and the challenges that they pose. Now, I have dedicated myself to helping them!

My Babies (I also have two dogs not listed here) -

Lemur - Born in Michigan around 2018 years ago according to his microchip and then found in a feral colony he was brought to a shelter in 2020. A tendency to hyperextend his tendons and resorptive lesions are his ailments but otherwise the nicest boi around. Lemur is now chillin with his furr friends at a fit 16lbs and loves eating, yelling at the outside creatures and sunbathing in comfy beds.

Ohm - Hailing from Houston, Texas she was transferred to a shelter out of state and adopted into the new home of a friend of mine. After about a year she was left with a roommate that had two other cats that bullied her until I went and picked her up. Herpes virus, food allergies, and stress induced overgrooming are a couple of the things I have learned about from her.

Yetti - Found in a feral colony in Colorado and estimated to be born in 2014 most of her teeth resorbed and the rest were pulled once she entered a shelter. Adopted out once she broke her hand and last teeth, then returned she found me - her furever home. As a toothless feral cat she was an exceptional teacher in patience and cat behavior overall.
